I've recently started using Payoneer as my online charging/payment method as it can seamlessly connect with Paypal and provides you with an actual US Checking account for free.
The debit card, which you can use at all ATM's and in most shops where they take MasterCard (Payoneer partner), arrives in a matter of days and you can use it immediately.
The transfer charges are very small and you just pay an annual $25 account cost at the Bank of America.
